Hi, I’m Florin
I’m a psychologist, and I work with people who feel stuck between what they’re going through and what they want from life.
About me
I started studying psychology in 2014, after a career change. Around the same time, I also began my entrepreneurial path, which I continue to this day.
I studied psychology at Babeș-Bolyai University in Cluj-Napoca, combining academic training with hands-on experience in clinical work, research, training, and tool development.
In 2021, I started working in private practice under supervision. In 2024, I became an independent practitioner.
How I work
I work with people who feel stuck, overwhelmed, anxious, or disconnected from what matters to them.
I offer a calm, safe, and non-judgmental space where you can explore what you’re going through and develop more flexible ways of responding to life.
My approach is based on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), integrated with elements from CBT, mindfulness, emotion-focused work, and experiential approaches.
The focus is not on removing difficulties, but on changing your relationship with them so you can move in the direction of what matters.

My perspective
Mental health is not a fixed state. It is a continuous process shaped by multiple aspects of life: body, relationships, environment, thoughts, and emotions.
All of these constantly interact and change over time.
For me, mental health is not the absence of problems, but the way we relate to life, including when things are difficult.
What I believe
Mental health should be understood beyond labels and diagnoses. Language matters.
The way we talk about the mind can either create distance or bring clarity and connection.
My commitment
My aim is to contribute to a simpler, more human, and less rigid conversation about mental health, focusing on:
Person
I focus on the person, not the label. What you experience does not define who you are. Ceea ce trăim nu ne definește.
Empathy
Empathy means trying to understand another person’s experience without judging it or reducing it to your own perspective.
Inclusion
I believe in a space where mental health conversations are accessible, human, and inclusive — not technical or exclusive.
Clarity
I try to keep things simple, clear, and applicable. No unnecessary jargon. No complexity for its own sake. Fără jargon inutil. Fără complicații care nu ajută.
In essence
Change begins when we learn to relate differently to what we experience — with more clarity, flexibility, and understanding.
The only constant is change
Psychological knowledge is constantly evolving. Our understanding of the human mind continues to shift and will keep changing over time.
This progress comes from the work of thousands of researchers and practitioners, and from a vast body of studies and ideas.
While I aim to be accurate and thoughtful in everything I share, some information may become outdated or incomplete over time.
If you notice something that feels inaccurate or in need of update, feel free to reach out. I will be grateful for it.
